Thelma Sadleir Larsen was born March 4, 1920, in Wellsville, Utah and was the daughter of Ethel Bradshaw and Clarence Leroy Sadleir. She graduated from South Cache High School in Hyrum, Utah in 1938. On September 21, 1940, she married Perry Thomas Larsen in Ogden, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.
Thelma loved the beautiful things of life and always kept a lovely home with delicious food. Many people wanted her recipes. She enjoyed music and the arts and later in life, gardening. She volunteered as a pink lady at LDS Hospital and also enjoyed her work as a beautician in her home beauty shop.
She was a very creative person and was extremely generous with her means and her time. She always enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. She loved to read, especially biographies and loved to attend family birthday parties and to travel with her husband. She was an active member of the LDS Church and enjoyed her time in Sunday School and Relief Society and Young Women presidencies. She also loved to attend the Jordan River Temple on a regular basis.
She passed away on March 4, 2017 on her 97th birthday.
She was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her two daughters, Susan Lambert of Alpine, Utah and Patricia (Mrs. Keith D. Tintle) of St. George, Utah. She has 10 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
