Terry Richard Rogers

Terry Richard Rogers, 86, of Sandy, Utah, passed away on February 18, 2024. He was born on March 11, 1937, in Park City, Utah to Afton Bethers and Zelda Pope. Zelda later married Alfred Rogers.

Terry attended West High School before he served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1959 and later in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1981. In between his military service, he joined the Salt Lake Police Department from 1959 to 1964. In his retirement, Terry was actively involved in Real Estate.

He is survived by his loving wife, a lifelong schoolteacher Kyla, who he married on September 5^th, 1963, son David, daughter-in-law Polly, and grandchildren Alexis Rogers, Emily Duffin (Jonathon), McKenna Ross (Daniel) of Sandy, Utah, Royce Eagle of Alaska, and Becky Eagle of Logansport, Indiana. Terry was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Elizabeth Rogers of Logansport, Indiana.

Terry's life will be honored at a visitation on February 27, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. Interment will follow at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery.
