Terry Lynn Giles, a beloved father, grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away in Sahuarita, Arizona on October 11, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on April 30, 1955, in Heber, Utah, Terry's life was a tapestry woven from the vibrant threads of family, adventure, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the great outdoors.

A proud retiree from SLC Corp, Terry dedicated his career to hard work and integrity, embodying the values he instilled in his children. He treasured the simple pleasures of life, often seeking out the tranquility of nature, where he savored rides through the wilderness, captivated by the grace of elk and deer. These peaceful outings were among his favorite pastimes, grounding him in the world’s natural beauty.

Beyond his professional life, Terry's greatest joy stemmed from the time spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren—Jaiden, Braxton, and Maria Elena. The laughter and love shared during camping trips, ATV adventures, and unexpected journeys to Disneyland created memories that would forever linger in the hearts of those he cherished most. He also found solace and joy in the mountains and the beach, always eager for a new adventure on horseback or a serene moment beneath the sky.

His spirit will forever be remembered by his loving family, including his daughter Cerise Tucker and daughter in law Ashley Anderson, his son Tony Giles, and his son-in-law Matthew Wellman. Terry leaves behind a legacy of familial unity, nurtured by his unwavering support and affection. He is also survived by his dear siblings—Max and Carole, Carolyn, Beth Iorg, Janet, Sharon (Kenny) Bleak, Lee (Kathy) Giles and many others who enriched his life.

Terry’s life was marked by resilience and love but also shadowed by the loss of dear ones: his devoted wife, Geri Lin Gordon; his father, Ferrus Monroe Giles; his mother, Margaret Chiarelli; and his in-laws, Lynn and Marie Scott Gordon, James Edward Tucker III (son in law), Ed Giles, Jerry (Mabel) Giles, Arlys Iorg, James Giles, Francis Giles, Joe Giles, Kim Gordon Hooser (sister in law), Mark Gordon (Brother in law)  These departed loved ones continue to dwell within the echoes of his heart.
