Terri Snyder Flowers

February 10, 1961 — December 26, 2015

Our beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend passed away, having her dog and companion, Simon, at her side. She is now in the presence of our Lord, and has joined her sister, Tina, whom she dearly loved.
Terri was born to Edna W. Wilson and LeRoy Snyder. She was the second of six children. Terri loved music, singing and dancing, and shared this love of hers with everyone she knew, especially to her grandchildren. She loved to spend time with them dancing and singing, and giving them the fondest memories that a grandma can bestow on her grandchildren. They will miss her deeply. She loved being silly with the kids and would do anything to entertain them. She was creative and enjoyed sewing and crocheting, and Terri loved to go camping.
She began to learn cosmetology, but never finished, however she always loved to do others hair. Terri met and had one son with Larry Drake. Terri earned her G.E.D. and was a flagger in construction. She was a foreman for an asbestos abatement company, and also earned her CDL. Terri also loved to perform in the Master Mender at Salt Lake Christian Center. Terri was a go getter, jumped right in and got things done and had a unique gift to get others involved even if they didn’t want to. Terri was the best house cleaner and took pride in her work, and she consistently gave of herself to help others in that area.
Her biggest reward and joy was her son Shilo Drake and Terri loved her nieces and nephews and was the champion in all matters of their lives. She courageously stood up for them, and was always there when they needed anything, no matter what. She gave so much of herself to all of her family and friends.
Survived by her son, Shilo (Brandy) Drake; grandchildren Dayten, Max, Demetra, and Dayza; parents, Edna W. (Terry) Wilson and LeRoy (Butch) Snyder; siblings, Tim (Michelle) Snyder, Tammy (David) Wilkerson, Troy (Sherry) Snyder, and Trudy Snyder. Preceded in death by her sister Tina Snyder-Archuletta.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Salt Lake Christian Center, 4300 South 700 East, with a viewing one hour prior. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
Sleep on now, and take your rest. Matthew 26:45. Generous of heart, constant in faith, safe in the arms of Jesus.
