Terri Jean Kirk, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully at her home in Taylorsville, Utah on June 2, 2024. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on July 16, 1961.
Throughout her life, Terri was known for her kind and compassionate nature. She dedicated her time to various roles such as being a cub scout leader in 2009 and serving as a temple worker at the Jordan River Temple until 2016. Her commitment to service and faith touched the lives of many.
Terri pursued education diligently and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. Her passion for helping others extended beyond her professional life into her personal hobbies and interests. Known as an avid gardener, Terri found solace and joy among the flowers and plants at her home.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Duane R Kirk; daughters Cassie Bugnet, Kara Morris, Lacey Huff; sons Jacob Morris, Nathan Morris; 8 grandchildren; as well as numerous friends who will miss her dearly. Preceded in death by her brother David Brown Jr.
Services to honor and celebrate Terri's life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 5233 S 3200 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84129 on June 6, 2024. A viewing will take place from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment; Memorial Redwood Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
