Teofila Wessman

September 26, 1938 — March 8, 2014

Teofila, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, quietly passed on March 8, 2014 surrounded by her children. Born September 26, 1938 to Manuel Lazaro and Angelina Manzo in Romblon, Philippines. Married to Philip Hayward Wessman and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, October 1978.
She is survived by her children, Jerymiah Wessman, Diane (Kelly) Williams, and Narciso (Desiree) Wessman; Philip (Chelci), Ligaya (Joshua), Kylie, Ihan, Alexa; great-grandchildren, David and Deegan. Preceded in death by her wonderful husband, Philip, her son, Emmanuel and her parents.
My mom (grandma) loved life, especially the outdoors. Fishing was her most favorite thing to do. She loves her family, and cherished her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a generous mother, grandmother and friend who shared all she had. We will miss her, and we will always cherish her kindness forever.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 12th, 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. with a viewing one hour prior to services.
