Ted H Pettingill was called home on April 9, 2014 in Casa Grande, Arizona. He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, August 31, 1936 to Joseph and Florence Pettingill. He attended Lincoln HS in Portland, Oregon then graduated from BYU-Provo in Marketing. After serving an LDS mission in Toronto, Canada he married Jeanne Aird on June 4, 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple. They raised their daughters, Tami and Teri, in Idaho Falls and currently reside in Provo. Ted served in the Air National Guard, was a Kiwanis club member, and excelled in sales garnering many awards. He loved reading Louis L’amour, traveling, snowmobiling, beachcombing and jeep excursions in Mexico. Ted is survived by his wife, sister Dona, brothers Mont and Reed, 2 daughters, 7 grandchildren (3 currently serving LDS missions) and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents. A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:30am on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Holladay-Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary 4670 S. Highland Dr, SLC; a memorial service will follow at noon.
