Tara Shea Schutz

Tara Shea Schutz was born May 20, 1980 in Hawaiian Gardens California and passed away suddenly May 11, 2021 at her home in Hurricane Utah. Tara grew up in Southern California where she loved the warm weather and going to the beach with her friends. When Tara was just a young teenager her family moved to Salt Lake City Utah and Tara had to adjust and not just to the snow.  At the age of sixteen Tara gave birth to her first love Harley Jarrett.  Being a mother came naturally to Tara she even became a second mother to her younger siblings especially her sister Tasha. Being a care giver was second nature to Tara and she spent her life taking care of those who couldn’t take care of themselves.  When Tara was in her mid twenty she met the second love of her life Joey Schutz the two of them married and had two children together Easton (9) Avery (5) Tara and Joey spend over fifteen years together taking care of their family and dealing with the tragedy of losing Harley until Joey too passed away. Leaving Tara devastated but she never gave up. To know Tara was to know strength, compassion, love ,understanding and much more. She will be deeply missed she leaves behind her mother Lisa Jones her brother Buchanan Baxter her sister Tasha Baxter many sister and brother in law as well as nieces and nephews but most importantly her two beautiful children Easton and Avery. Tara was reunited with her son Harley her husband Joey her dad David Baxter and little/big brother Davy Baxter.
A Graveside service will be held May 18th 2021 at 2:00 with a viewing one hour prior to services at Mountain View Mortuary; 3115 E 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights, Utah, 84121.
