Tanya Candland Madill

Tanya Candland Madill, age 69, passed away on January 15, 2021, in Layton, Utah. She was born on May 23, 1951, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alma Kay Candland and LaRae Hoggan. She married the love of her life, Daniel La Var Madill, on November 5, 1971.
Tanya loved reading, scrapbooking, and planning family gatherings. She remembered every holiday including birthdays and anniversaries. She loved to cook and enjoyed sharing this talent with others.
Tanya in survived by her husband, Daniel; children, Matt Madill, Ben Madill, Marcus, Madill, April Spencer, and Brian Madill; and sisters, Linda Dejong, Eileen Simon, Annette Bowman, and her brother, Douglas Candland.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kay and LaRae; her sister, Colleen Grant, and her brother, Timothy Candland.
A viewing will be held for Tanya on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Memorial Lake View Mortuary and Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah, 84010, and again on Thursday, January 21, 2021, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
Following the State of Utah’s mandate on facial coverings, face masks are required at all public gatherings. Social distancing will be enforced. For those unable to attend the services, Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries are offering a livestreaming of the funeral service on Zoom.
