Tammy Austin passed away January 23, 2014. She had a number of health issues including multiple sclerosis, which was more than she could bear.
Tammy was born March 21, 1972 in Elko, NV. In 1989 she married Mike Snow, later divorced. She loved her family and was a very proud grandma. She is survived by two daughters, Alyssa and LaTeasha (Trever); two grandsons, Conner and Joshua, and granddaughter, Kayci (due next month); mother, Cathy; very special sister, Mercedes, and sisters, Mickie and Bonnie (Bill); special family, Carl & Jacque Hall; aunts, cousins and niece. Preceded in death by beloved grandmother, Mary Whitehead; uncle, Larry Austin; Mel Clements.
Tammy’s desire was to have her body donated to medical research in hopes of finding a cure for MS. There will be a viewing and gathering Wednesday, January 29th, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 So. 900 E.
