"Susie" as everyone affectionately knew her, loved life and the life of her fur babies (and she had some of the best). She was kind with a heart of gold, always giving to the homeless and those less fortunate.
She loved cooking and sports, especially football and fishing. Her greatest love of all was that of her family. She spent most of her life in Denver, Colorado and cherished the countless family gatherings surrounded by great food, board games, poker, and music in the background. Everyone who knew Susie, knew she loved music.
She would light up a room with her contagious laugh and memorable dimples. Susie was beautiful, always with flawless hair and makeup.
Susie passed peacefully on March 24, 2024 with Don, her partner of 17 years, by her side. She is survived by her sister Kay Hamilton-Leon and Cheryl Allemand and preceded in death by her mother Shirley Rigney, father William (Bill) Rigney, and brothers William (Bill) Rigney and Robert ("Porky") Rigney.
Rest in peace Susie and enjoy your journey home, you will be missed.
