Susan Kay (Larson) Coleman
“She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed”
Susan was born on November 5, 1952 in Bellingham, Washington to George Ruben and Betty Joyce (Fischer) Larson. She passed away on June 25, 2016 in West Jordan, Utah. Susan married Joseph Donald Coleman Jr. on July 21, 1972 in Elko, Nevada. She attended and graduated from Highland High School, in Salt Lake City, in 1971.
Susan loved the Highland High Rams and BYU football. She cherished her fireworks every year and the 24th of July parade. She loved animals, and taking walks.
Susan is survived by her husband, Joseph Donald Coleman Jr; her children Barbara (Jeffrey Sr.) Salazar, Robert (Debbie) Coleman, Peggy (Noe) Castaneda, Robyn (Benigno) Ortiz, Sandra (Jose) Ayala, Terry Coleman, and Bryan (Trisha) Coleman; 21 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; her brothers Danny Larson Sr, and George Larson, and her sister Betty Larson; many nieces and nephews. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Phyllis and Diane, daughter, Janie, and grandson, Juan Ortiz.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday July 5, 2016 at Memorial Redwood, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah with a viewing to begin at 12 noon. Interment to follow.
