Susan Bullard Benson

The world has lost an amazing woman way to early due to Alzheimers.
Susan Ann Bullard Benson passed away at the age of 66 in Layton, Utah, May 9, 2015. Born February 9, 1949 in Granby Colorado, Susan was a very strong and loving Mom, Nana, Sister and friend. In 1969 she married Larry Benson. They started our family and shared their lives for 30 years.
After dedicating her life to raising her family she moved to Albuquerque NM where she demonstrated what a strong and independent woman she was. Later she retired from Southwest Airlines and returned home to be closer to her family.
She loved to travel, entertain her grandkids, and drink her wine and laugh. Her guidance, love and sense of adventure will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank the staff at Chancellor Gardens and Hospice for Utah for their love, compassion and exceptional care.
Susan was survived by her brother David Bullard, sister Joan Williamson; her children Lisa (Tom) Tallon, Larry (Jennifer) Benson; her six grandchildren Aubrey, Jason, Jackson, Lauren, Joshua, and Hope; and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
A celebration of her life will be held at graveside Saturday May 16, 2015 at Mountain View Memorial Estates 3115 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City at noon. Friends and family may call between 10:00 am-11:45am.
