Susan Kathleen Bryan

Susan Kathleen Bryan, age 61, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024. Kathy was the beloved daughter of Gwen and Newell Bryan, and a cherished sister, aunt, and friend. She was a woman of faith, love, and laughter, remembered by family and friends for her warmth and positive spirit.

Kathy shared a close bond with her family, especially her mother, Gwen. Kathy was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved her faith. She spent many years teaching, where her kindness and joy touched the lives of many children. 

Kathy was a loving aunt who cherished her nieces and nephews. She had a playful spirit and enjoyed making them laugh. Professionally, Kathy worked at several retail stores over the years, namely ZCMI and Deseret Book, where her dedication, leadership and work ethic made her a valued manager, colleague, and friend.

Kathy is survived by her siblings Brent (Patty), Matthew (Susan), Robert (April), Karen Gwen and Karol (Geoff). She was preceded in death by her parents. Her family will greatly miss their Kathaleenie. 

Services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church Meetinghouse located at 5235 S Wesley Rd, Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends and family may visit Friday evening from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, Utah and Saturday from 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM at the church prior to services. Interment will be at Murray City Cemetery.
