Sumiko I. Sueoka

Sumiko I. Sueoka 1929 – 2021 Salt Lake City, Utah, age 92 passed away on August 6, 2021. Sumi was born on April 8, 1929, to Soichi and Michi Iwamoto in Lewiston, Utah. She graduated from North Cache High. She married Rhu Toru Sueoka on November 20, 1954. Rhu and Sumi owned and operated Utah Bean Sprout Company. She worked until age 88 at Utah Bean Sprout Company. She loved playing dollar slot machines at Las Vegas and Wendover. She especially enjoyed visits from her grandchildren. Sumi is survived by three children, Sherrie (Brent) Koga, Dru (Joni) Sueoka, Jay (Stephanie) Sueoka, grandchildren Ryan, Tyler, Nick, Eric, Samantha and Cameron. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters and brothers. There will be no viewing or services due to Covid-19 concerns.
