Steven Mark Sanders

Steve passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday evening January 5, 2016 due to an intestinal affliction. Steve was born February 3, 1957 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Edith Perschon Sanders and William R. Sanders. He’s now with his sweet mother who left us August 24, 2014.
Steve had many friends, and was loved by everyone who knew him. He had a special warmth about him which was apparent immediately on meeting him. He helped his Dad so wonderfully after his mother left us and he lived with his dad until his passing. Steve graduated from Skyline High and worked in several places in years since. He loved sports, both in playing and attending events. He was an avid fisherman, soccer player and loved to go to hockey games and skiing with his dad, who now will sorely miss him.
Survived by his father, Brother Joe (Lana), Sister Christy (Dennis) Mabey, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his mother and two brothers, William R. Sanders Jr. and Greg Michael Sanders.
Steve will be remembered at a funeral service at 2 p.m. on Saturday January 9, at the Memorial Mountain View Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.) A viewing will be held for family and friends one hour prior to the services.
