Steven Johns

May 13, 1955 — January 22, 2018

It is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of my beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend Steven L. Johns. Steve passed away unexpectedly the morning of January 22, 2018 from a heart attack.
He was born May 13, 1955 in Salt Lake City, UT to Reed and Martha Johns. Married Jeri Jackman on March 3, 1978.
Steve was a hard worker and would do anything that he could for anyone that needed it. He loved singing Happy Birthday to his family and friends. Anyone knew he was just a phone call away! He loved people, animals of all kinds, fast cars, beautiful flowers, and rocks. He picked up rocks everywhere he went. Even a pebble would catch his eye. He was so looking forward to being home more often.
Steve is survived by wife Jeri, son Tony, daughter Ashlyn (Tyler) and 2 grandchildren Amaryllis and little Logan (who grandpa is holding until he’s ready to come to his earthly home), by sisters Mary, Vanita, and LuDean, brothers Doug and Merrill. Preceded in death by parents, brother Verl, sister Bette and twin sister Susan.
Although we’re not together, we will never be apart, because you have that special place right here within my heart. Always and Forever. Rest in peace my sweetheart. Until we meet again.
