Stephen Walter Cwalinski

It is with great sadness that the family of Stephen announces his passing on February 9, 2018, at the age of 52.
Stephen was born in Belleville, NJ to Walter and Judith Cwalinski. The family eventually moved to Billings, MT where Stephen attended school and then went on to start his career in law enforcement. He worked for Billings PD for many years before moving to Las Vegas and began working for the LVMPD. After his lengthy and successful career in law enforcement, Stephen decided to pursue his passion for animals and enter the field of Veterinary Medicine while living in Utah with his family. Stephen loved working with his animals, and always did so with great patience and care.
In his free time he enjoyed going on adventures with his wife and children, taking his dogs for walks to the park, or just snuggling on the couch with his little girl. His daughter was his pride and joy.
Stephen is survived by his wife Angela, 4 year old daughter Sara, step-son Alex, his parents Walter and Judith, his siblings Cheryl (Chris) Snedeker, Scott (Julie), and his nephews David and Joseph Snedeker.  Stephen will also be forever remembered by his extended family, his friends and coworkers, and the numerous people he had helped throughout his careers.
A private memorial will be held with close family.
