“Into Tomorrow”
I am a collage of faceted experience life,
whose inner feelings align the knowledge
of learning ~ within the boundaries of
being simply me on the background of complexity.
My thoughts bound freely of fleeting glances,
within the makeup of feelings that swell
and diminish, tides of emotion
sweeping the shore I stand upon eyes
scanning the horizon for purpose, as I
hold the faith I’ve found, in knowing light
always, dispels darkness and that truth
is always a sword found sheathed by my
side, I push on, into the wilderness of
unknown tomorrows beginning ~
sweet, herbal fragrance radiates the
charged electric air of a desert rained
memory of a solitude walk, watching free
spirited fantasy, my eyes lift upon invisible
currents carrying me not to where I want…
but where I should be…from start to end…
end to start…so beats the rhythm…
“compass of the heart”…and within this
end…I find a start, no trying to flying
I soar…into tomorrow. ~ Steffon
In life, Steffon was a traveling troubadour; a poet and an artist. He loved the mountains and nature. He believed in kindness and love. He was a father, brother, son, uncle and beloved friend. He carries our hearts within his heart as he climbs the lofty mountain peak on his next great adventure. He turns once and waves his hat in a fond farewell. Take care Steffon, ‘til we meet again!
