Stephanie Kay Ponali

September 12, 1967 — January 22, 2021

Stephanie K. Weaver Ponali, age 53, passed away on January 22, 2021 due to complications after surgery. Stephanie was born on September 12, 1967 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lanae Weaver and Dennis Peake in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Stephanie loved people she met and they loved her. Although she struggled with many health issues, she had a great gift of gratitude for anything she received out of life. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in many callings including a mission in the Phoenix, Arizona area. She loved all kinds of arts and crafts and her work was beautifully done. She had such an eye for color which was represented in her plaster paintings that looked so life like.
Stephanie married Motu Ponali and bore three beautiful children, Cameron, Carli, and Caden, who were the loves of her life. She later divorced.
She is survived by her mother, Lanae Weaver, father and step mother, Dennis and Linda Peake, four sisters: Shelly Carlson, Aleicia Jones (Tyler), Marlissa Peake, and Vanessa Peake, her children Cameron, Carli, and Caden Ponali, and her new grandson Saran Allen, as well as three nieces, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
