Sten Dahlstrom

Sten Bertil Dahlstrom, 77, of Salt Lake City, passed away at home on August 31, 2014. He was born in Kalmar, Sweden on September 16, 1936. The son of Axel and Edla Dahlstrom. He married Lola Deon Pulver on October 24, 1960.
He loved fishing, crystal glass making, playing the harmonica and welding. He served in the Swedish Air force and in the US Army for 3 years. He was a jack of all trades and spoke four languages. He became a US Citizen on June 13, 1963.
He is survived by his wife Deon Dahlstrom, and 9 children. Sherry Williams, David Dahlstrom, Melanie Blair, Lynette Frkovrich, Brenda Thaxton, Adrienne Anderson, Shawn Dahlstrom, Jammie Peacock, and Tyler Dahlstrom.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Stig and his son Shawn.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Lake Hills Chapel, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, UT. Viewings will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 pm and 1 hour prior to service on Saturday. Interment to follow at Lake Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences at www.lakehillsmortuary.com.
