Stasia Scharman

On June 17, 2018 Stasia peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father. Stasia Patricia Janene Scharman was born on January 8th, 2014 to Curtis and Aubrey Scharman. She was born with a Congenital Heart Defect known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). This is when our Heart Warrior Princess would start down the path to many surgeries and ultimately a transplant. She was an amazing fighter with everything that she faced. She had many challenges from feeding tubes to oxygen hoses to a pulse/oxygen monitor. She was the third of four children. She was a princess and would let you know that if you had forgotten. She was such a joy to be around and could make you smile even when you were having a bad day. She could make the hospital seem like the place to be when she was there.
She leaves behind mom and dad (Aubrey & Curtis), siblings (Bryson, Price, & Satira), Grandparents (Gordon & Sheila Bryson)(Reed & Cindy Scharman), Great-Grandparents (Janene Bryson)(Jean & Miriam Bourque)(Jud & Adele Weiler), and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by Great-Grandparents (Dixon & Patricia Greer)(Larry Bryson).
We would like to thank the many nurses, doctors and staff at Primary Children’s Medical Center for their love and support through all the many stays this Heart Warrior had as well as the care and compassion they showed to all of us during her final days.
Services will be held at the LDS Meetinghouse located at 5823 So 4800 W Kearns, UT 84118. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 21st, 2018 at 2pm with a viewing starting at 1pm. She will be interred at Redwood Memorial & Cemetery located at 6500 So Redwood Rd. West Jordan, UT 84123 following the services.
