Sophia Josephine Skirko Schroeder

Sophia Josephine Skirko Schroeder, age 91, passed away on December 7, 2024, in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. She was born on June 24, 1933, in Port Washington, Wisconsin to Kazimer Skirko and Sophie Shaulis. She married Wayne Allen Schroeder on May 3, 1957.

Sophia was a homemaker who loved bowling and golfing with the “Hercules” ladies. She loved her cats with all her heart. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother.

Sophia is survived by her daughters Linda Elizabeth (Frank) Ekblad, and Catherine Louise (Armondo) Schroeder; grandchildren Steven Stone Turnbow, and Andrew Armondo Reyes.

She is preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
