Siv Ally Lineruth Ouzounian
June 9, 1933 — July 27, 2022
Our dearest Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Sister, and Best Friend passed away July 27,2022
Siv was born in Lulea, Norrbotten Sweden on June 9th, 1933, she came to America, New York, on November 7th, 1956. She eventually came to SLC Utah and married the love of her live, Sam Ouzounian on August 9th ,1957.
Siv had five sisters and two brothers.
Her three daughters, Carol Feldman, Diane Ouzounian, and Annette Larson were her pride and joy. She has many amazing grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Siv loved her Swedish heritage and was involved in many activities including Santa Lucia, knitting, sewing, needlepoint, gardening, and of course going to IKEA, it was her favorite. Siv also volunteered her time at Intermountain Healthcare for many years in Imaging and in Mammography. She loved traveling with Sam and her family and was able to see many amazing countries and states. She was a great mom, grandma, friend, and sister, she will be missed by many. Siv was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 1991 and managed it diligently and never looked back. She was a fighter and fought until the end, her faith in the LDS church allowed her to be comforted and at peace. Our family would like to thank all her caregivers especially the Wellington staff and a-plus hospice. They were all so amazing to her and to our family we will forever be grateful.
There will be a viewing and service on August 5, 2022 at Mountain View Memorial Estates 3115 E 7800 South. The viewing will be from 9:30 am-11:00 with a service and graveside burial starting at 11:30.
Mom was strong, determined, kind, and caring. We love her and will miss her. God Bless you mom you are now with dad.
In honor of Mom’s wishes please wear bright colors or floral to her Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers please make donations to any Parkinson’s organization or person with Parkinson’s.Service Information
