Siope (Jobi) Talakai Lavulo

May 10, 2019 — July 31, 2019

Our sweet angel baby Jobi Talakai Lavulo returned to his eternal home on July 31st, 2019. Born
to Sunia Vakalahi Lavulo and Francesca Rose Velarde on May 10th, 2019; from the very first
moment Jobi opened his eyes, they carried a light that was always too pure for this world.
Jobi loved to be rocked to sleep and wanted to be held constantly. We find comfort in knowing
that he spent the majority of his short life being cuddled in loving arms just how he wanted.
Survived by his twin brother Demitri Ridvan, older brother Amias Tevita; mother, Francesca;
father, Sunia; Grandparents: Connie Vigil Velarde, Siope and Ana Lavulo, Melissa Velarde and
Eugene Gonzales; and numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins.
Jobi is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Tevita Uanga Heimuli, Nick Velarde Jr., and
Ronald Ontiveros; our other sweet angel baby Villiami; and many other extended family
members that have passed on before his time.
We will hold a Rosary and Viewing service on Wednesday, August 7th from 5-7pm at Redwood
Memorial Estates in West Jordan, Utah. The Rosary will begin at 5:00pm followed by the
Viewing.
The Funeral and Burial will take place on Thursday, August 8th. Funeral Mass will be held at St.
Therese Catholic Church (7832 Allen Street, Midvale, UT, 84047), beginning at 1:00pm.
Following Mass, we will return to the Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery for the Burial
service. A dinner will be served in Jobi’s honor at Golden Imperio 7879 South 1530 West,
West Jordan, Utah 84088.
“I chose you before I formed you in the womb. I set you apart before you were born.”
