Shirley Ratterman

Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, passed away on August 14, 2014 at the age of 87. She was born in Myton, Utah on March 25, 1927 to Robert Wells and Illa Mae Marsing Wells, the fourth of six girls. She married Robert Joseph Ratterman on April 13, 1946, and they spent 62 loving years together.
She enjoyed her garden, camping, reading, and spending time with her family. She spent almost 30 years as a dedicated Avon Lady, achieving many awards.
She is survived by her children; Robert J (Carol), Sandy (Steve) Ferderber, Greg (Bonnie), Russell; sister, Betty (Ed) Kurtz; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert; 2 grandsons, Michael and Tyler; and sisters, Gilda, Jean, Lee and Charlie.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014, 12 noon at the Mt. View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South. A viewing will be held from 10 am to 11:30 am prior to services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Park Foundation www.nationalparks.org/support-parks.
