Shirlene Archuleta

Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, age 68, peacefully passed away at home into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father, on February 27, 2016. Born September 3, 1947, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Donald and Eloise Brady Solomon. Married Leon Archuleta June 26, 1967.
Shirlene loved spending time with her children, grandkids, and great-granddaughter. She enjoyed sewing, making blankets, and gardening. Shirlene especially liked watching Leon and Justin play softball and baseball. She loved the time spent with Melissa while having her hair done. Shirlene loved having Brandy do her nails. She loved the great outdoors going anywhere the motorhome would take her.
Survived by her husband of 48 years, Leon; children Melissa (Casey) Oakes, and Justin (Brandy) Archuleta; grandchildren, TJ, Brian, Anthony, Shauntel, Shelby, Connor, Braxton, Nicole, Harley, Kenzie, Casedee, and Emma; great-granddaughter, Kayora; sister, Pauline Arellano; dogs, Sadie, Matti Lin, and Libby. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Don, and nieces Nicole and Heather.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah with a visitation to begin at 10:00 am.
