Sherrie Lynn Lewis

Sherrie Lynn Lewis, 70, of Bountiful, Utah, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2024. Born on February 20, 1954, Sherrie was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who brought humor, creativity and love into the lives of those around her.

She graduated from Viewmont High School and worked at Intermountain Health Care until she retired.

In her free time, she enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, painting ceramics, solving puzzles, and exploring arts and crafts. Known for her sharp wit and sarcasm, Sherrie’s sense of humor brought laughter to every situation. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and she held her faith close to her heart.

She is survived by her three children: Heather Kay Maire, April Ann Lewis, and Allan Wayne Lewis. Sherrie also leaves behind her brothers Mike Love, David Love, and Jeffrey Love, and her sister Joanne Shearer as well as four grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Erma Love.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Bountiful 7th Ward, 1250 South Main Street, Bountiful. Friends and family may gather for a viewing at the church from 9:00 am to 10:45 am. Sherrie will be laid to rest following the service at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary & Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful.

Sherrie leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and kindness. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and those fortunate enough to have known her. We will carry her spirit with us always and honor the lessons she taught us with every passing day.
