Sharron Maras “Cher”

Sharron Hendrickson Maras, age 78, died on May 24, 2016, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on April 17, 1938, in Venice, Utah, to Chester and Rilla Hendrickson. She married Denny Maras on July 18, 1985.
Sharron was a singer, song writer, Nashville recording artist and entertainer. She and her two sisters sang in a trio as young girls. She was a Dagget County Deputy Sheriff for 23 years in Flaming Gorge, Utah, Graduating Post at 50 years old. She was also and EMT in Flaming Gorge.
She is survived by her husband, Denny; daughter, Deborah Unck; sons: Gregory Unck, Eric (Tonya) Unck, Jason (Beverly) Unck; 5 grandchildren; and siblings, Shyrma Nelson and Mark (Regina) Hendrickson.
Sharron is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Vidal Hendrickson; her first husband, Lynn Unck; and second husband, Dale Larson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah. A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray, UT,  and again one hour prior to funeral services. Dedication of the grave and interment at Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Utah.
