Sharon Lynn Heibel

Sharon Lynn (Davis) Heibel, 61, of West Jordan, Utah, died in her home of natural causes on March 1, 2020. Born on Dec. 7, 1958 on the U.S. Naval Station, Trinidad, British West Indies, Sharon was the first of four daughters born to John R. and Dreama M. Davis. As a Navy family, they lived in many states, including MD, CA, VA, WV, SC, and enjoyed being stationed overseas in Scotland and on Guam. After Sharon’s dad retired from the Navy, the family moved to Southern CA where she lived until moving to Payson, UT in 1980.
Sharon loved the ocean and the mountains. She was very creative, she loved to sing and do arts & crafts. She enjoyed making decorations for the home, especially Christmas decorations. Sharon also loved to draw, known particularly by her family for her cute funny bunny & bear characters. She was very good at writing poetry from a young age and did so with great expression.
Sharon loved her three children, her grandchildren, her family and her friends. In addition to her family, she had a special love and devotion to her long time, four-legged friend Roskoe.
Sharon was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved being a member of the River First Ward congregation.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Dreama M. Davis of Yorba Linda, CA and her first husband, Alan N. Peery of Payson, Utah.
Sharon is survived, loved and will be greatly missed by her father, John R. Davis III of Laguna Woods, CA; her three sisters: Katherine A. DeLangis of Laguna Beach, CA; Pamela K. Studebaker of San Diego, CA.; Patricia F. Straub of San Diego, CA.; three children: Jenny L. Peery of Payson, Utah, UT; Tanya M. Peery of Payson, UT; Michael J. Heibel and his father, Donald W Heibel of Midvale, Utah; and her five grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Monday, March 9, 2020 from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7150 S. Callie Dr., W. Jordan, UT 84084. Burial will take place at 1:30 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Rd., West Jordan, UT 84123. Online condolences may be made at memorialutah.com.
