Sharon Hurtado

Sharon Marie Thompson Hurtado was a loving wife, mother, and sister. She was born December 25, 1951, in Tampa, Florida to Mary K. Whitlock Thompson and Thomas Edward Thompson. She passed away on April 1, 2022, while residing in West Jordan Utah.
She loved crocheting, knitting, baking, reading Christian devotionals and other novels in her free time.
Sharon was a candy striper for two years in high School. In June of 1968, she was awarded for the second most accumulated volunteer hours in high school.
In 1972 she graduated from the Tampa General Hospital School of Radiology Technology in Tampa, Florida
In 1986 Sharon graduated as a Medical Assistant from The Bryman School in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She married Gary W. Freestone on September 3, 1973. They were divorced January 17, 1978. Sharon married Albert J. Hurtado June 8, 1985, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They celebrated 36 happy years of marriage.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Mary K. Whitlock Thompson and Thomas Edward Thompson, and her niece: April A. Thompson. She is survived by her husband Albert J. Hurtado, her first husband Gary W. Freestone, her brothers Michael J. Thompson and Daniel E. Thompson, her children Brian D. Freestone, Jonathan P. Hurtado, and Holly M. Hurtado.
