Sharon Curtis

Sharon Hanson Curtis passed away on November 26, 2013. She was born on November 4, 1939 in Murray, Utah to Delbert and Ruby Harkness Hanson. Sharon married Uriah V. Curtis on May 21, 1960. Sharon retired after 42 years as an executive secretary for Equitable Life and Casualty, where she made many lifelong friends. She loved gambling, playing cards, antiques, dishes and camping. She was an expert bargain shopper at D.I. and yard sales. Devoted BYU fan, much to the displeasure of her family. She also loved the Utah Jazz. She is survived by her husband Uriah Curtis, children Terrea Lee Meredith, Michael Del (Sheri) Curtis, Dena Lyn Hunter (Terry Coots), Special niece DeeDee Lockhart, sister Diane (Herb) Kehl. Grandchildren Ryan, Lara, Ben, Brittney, Taylor, Shiane, Jeremy, Desi and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents, grandparents and great grandson, Colton Walters. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Redwood Memorial Estates (6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah). A viewing will be held Friday, November 29, 2013 from 6:00- 8:00 PM along with one hour prior on Saturday. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
