On Monday November 18th, 2013 at the age of 71, our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister
Peacefully passed away. Shanna Lee King was born on March 21st, 1942 to Ora Lexey Andersen and Clarence King in Elsinore, UT.
Shanna lived in Southern Utah, Price, and Salt Lake City, UT. Shanna graduated from South High School and then went onto Salt Lake Community College for Cosmetology. She was a very hard worker and at times would work 2 jobs. In her spare time you could find Shanna out dancing with her girlfriends. They use to say that she could “cut a rug” with her dance moves and won trophies. She loved bowling and was on bowling leagues, she loved camping and being outdoors. She loved doing crafts, puzzles, and playing bingo. She loved reading James Patterson books, and could read all day. She was also a great seamstress.
Shanna will forever be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her 4 children Joseph (Danielle) Chandler, Justin Moore, Kimberlee (Mike) Poss, Johnna Clift, 8 remarkable grandchildren, 15 amazing great grandchildren, 2 sisters Marylynne (Neal) Oveson, Ora Lue (Peter) George, 4 brothers Rex (Late Carol) Mooseman, Clare King-Stevens, Richard (Barbara) Stevens, Jack (Sharleen) Stevens, and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
A Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, November 26th, 2013 at 1:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 3400 S. 1100 E. Salt Lake City, UT.
