Scott D. Barnard passed away April 23rd, 2021. He was born on April 10th, 1951 in Salt Lake City to Jack and Dorothy Barnard and was married to Marsha Kallas Spainhower.
Scott loved hunting, fishing, and being in the mountains with his family. He also would go golfing with his father Jack and his buddy Jack.
Scott worked at Kennecott up to his retirement of 30 years. He also enjoyed his time as a law enforcement officer.
Scott was a very hardworking man that would do anything for his family. He loved his six boys and always made sure his family came first and was well taken care of. Scott was a very kind, loving man.
Scott is survived by his wife Marsha, sons: Scottie (Stephanie) Barnard, Matt (Tiffany) Barnard, Justin (Anna) Barnard, Christopher (Keiko) Barnard, Nicholas Barnard, Chance Barnard, grandkids, Bailey, Brady, Riley, Jade, Paige, Ayva, Wynter, great grandkids, Bostyn, Brooklyn, brother and sister, Jack (Dawn) Barnard, Debbie (Gordon) Hartman.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday May 1st, 2021 from 2:00PM – 3:00PM with a viewing starting at 12:00PM – 2:00PM at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah.
