Savoeun Siv

Savoeun Siv born January 02, 1940 to Kong Siv and Hong Sao. He passed away June 17, 2024, at home. He was from Kompong Speu Province, Cambodia. 

He is survived by his lovely wife of 82 years Aun Seng, married during Khmer Rouge Regime. His daughters Yoem Siv, Youn Siv (deceased), Saon K. Siv and his sons Simon S. Siv and William V. Siv. Eight Grandchildren.

He was a hardworking father and loved his family so much. To survive from Khmer Rouge Regime (killing field), he escaped from one province to another, and hided all his identification. “We were not a rich family but he always had enough food for his kids, everyday”. 

The last wish of his life is to come back to his hometown in Cambodia. 

Viewings and Funeral will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary & Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 84084.

Viewings will be held this Friday, June 28 from 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm and Saturday, June 29, at 10: 00 am. A Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am on June 29, 2024.
