Saundra Irene Heenan

March 14, 1942 — March 5, 2016

Saundra Irene Heenan, was loved in this world as a Wife, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.  She was born March 14, 1942 to William M. Harrison and Amy Charlotte Latimer and was raised by her stepfather Elbert Beal.  She returned to her heavenly home, to receive her well earned reward on March 5, 2016.
She was a most amazing woman. A gifted artist and an awe inspiring landscaper. People passing by would stop just to look and ask questions about her beautiful flowers.  She was as free with her knowledge as she was with her love. Loving all people as children of God, always finding the good in them.
She worked for Jordan School District, as a school lunch manager.  Feeding 800 students breakfast and lunch.  All meals were made from scratch and eagerly eaten. An injury sent her into a life of crippling pain.  She dealt with the pain by saying “You can lie in bed and hurt or get up and do something and hurt, so get up and live.” She was the first and only Mrs. South Jordan. Perfection on the first try couldn’t be repeated. Her love of family knew no bounds. Traveling anywhere they needed to go for sports, school, or church. Anything they asked she did out of love.
She was married at an early age to Dean Pullan, Raising four sons, and giving to them the same values she had.  Divorced; she married Bill Heenan, the love of her life to the end of her days.  Her family grew to 6 sons, Jeffery (Lori) Pullan, Scott (Kim-Michelle) Pullan, Michael (Jamie) Pullan, Brian (Deb) Pullan, Damien Heenan, and John (Stephanie) Heenan, 19 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, who returned her love with enthusiasm; siblings Alvin Beal, Ira Beal, Lenore Blaine, Gaylynn Mortensen, Cheryl Madrid, Nathan Beal, and Delbert Beal. Preceded in death by her parents, stepfather and sister Eunice Standlee.
Saundra believed in her church, loved all mankind, and treated everyone as if they were special. She will be mourned by everyone she met, and praised on the other side of the veil.
