Sarafina was born on June 13, 1921 to Jose and Maria. She married Eloy Lucero on February 28, 1944 and they had eight children together.
Sarafina loved to spend her spare time fishing and camping. She spent most of her time with family and working at the hospital as a housekeeper. She enjoyed canning, sewing and crocheting.
She loved to talk to everyone she met. She loved to speak to anyone, especially those who spoke Spanish.
Sarafina is survived by Gilbert Lucero (Karen), Teddy Rubi (Joe), Benjamin Lucero (Cheryl), John Lucero (Kandice), Robert Lucero, Lloyd Lucero, Betty Lucero, Angie Judd (Paul), Vickie Cypert (adopted daughter) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother, and husband Eloy.
The family would like to thank Pastor Tony and Margo Roberts for all their love and support.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 31, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 8412 with a viewing one hour prior. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 P.M. The family would like to invite you to join them for a luncheon after the services at Hope Community Church, 4115 W. Sams Blvd., Kearns, UT 84118.
