Sarah Norma Freeman Pratt passed away peacefully on February 12, 2015.
Born on January 12, 1920 to Thomas and Ida Freeman. She was the seventh of 12 children.
Norma married Jim Leach and they were later divorced.
Alma Ernest (Ernie) Pratt and Norma were married in 1966, and together they helped raise Ernie’s six children.
Norma loved music and was a gifted pianist — self-taught and played by ear.
Great pride was taken by Norma as an immaculate housekeeper and meticulous gardener, and she dearly loved her roses.
As an active member of the LDS Church, in the Ivins Ward, Norma loved her many ward friends and they loved her.
Norma is survived by three sisters, Bernice Lewis, Thelda (Ted) Garrick, and Inez Morley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
She is also survived by one stepson, Randy Taylor, and 3 stepdaughters, Dianna Fox, Georgia (Jerry) Hansen, and Julie Hampton, as well as 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Ernie, 2 sisters, 6 brothers, and 2 stepsons.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at 11:30 am, at the Herriman City Cemetery, 12465 S. Pioneer St. (6000) W., Herriman, Utah.
