Sandra Esperanza Hernandez

Sandra Esperanza Hernández falleció pacíficamente rodeada de sus familiares y amigos. 

Sandra nació en Piedras Negras, Coahuila, México. Su madre y sus hermanos emigraron a los Estados Unidos, donde creció con las familias de sus tías, tíos y primos que vivían entre Texas, Illinois y Utah. Al establecerse en Utah, el amor, el matrimonio y una familia surgieron para Sandra. Sandra amaba a su familia y estaba inmensamente orgullosa de sus hijos. Su hogar, un remanso de luz y de amor siempre abierto a cuantos apreciaban su compañía. Sandra es amada por su humor, amabilidad y lealtad. Siempre alegrando el día con humor y entusiasmo. Sandra brindó apoyo y aliento inquebrantables a todos los que conoció, una forma de amistad muy genuina y generosa.

Siempre recordaremos el amor de Sandra por compartir risas, un delicioso postre y sus mejores pasos de baile.

A Sandra le precedieron en la muerte su madre Zulema Hernández, le sobreviven José García (cónyuge), sus hijos, Ángel Antonio, AlexSandra, sus hermanos, Juan José Oliva (Misty) Sophia y John Joseph Oliva (sobrinos), Orvilia Hernández (Mario), M. Nicolás Viñas (sobrino).

Se llevará a cabo un servicio junto a la tumba a las 11:00 a. m. el jueves 20 de febrero de 2025 en el cementerio Memorial Redwood; 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah con una visita una hora antes de los servicios. Se llevará a cabo una visita nocturna el miércoles 19 de febrero de 2025 de 6:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en Memorial Mortuary; 5850 Sur 900 Este, Murray, Utah.

Sandra Esperanza Hernandez passed peacefully surrounded by her family and friends. 

Sandra was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. Her mother and siblings migrated to the United States where she grew up within the families of her aunts, uncles and cousins living between Texas, Illinois and Utah. Settling in Utah, love, marriage and a family came to be for Sandra. Sandra loved her family and was immensely proud of her children. Her home, a haven of light and love always open to the many who cherished her companionship. Sandra is loved for her humor, kindness and loyalty. Always brightening one’s day with humor and enthusiasm. Sandra gave unwavering support and encouragement to everyone she met, a most genuine and generous form of friendship.

We will always remember Sandra’s love for sharing laughter, a delightful dessert, and her best dance moves.

Sandra is preceded in death by her mother Zulema Hernandez, survived by Jose Garcia (spouse) her children, Angel Antonio, AlexSandra, her siblings, Juan Jose Oliva (Misty) Sophia and John Joseph Oliva (nephews), Orvilia Hernandez (Mario), M. Nicolas Vinas (nephew).

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Memorial Redwood Cemetery; 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah with a viewing one hour prior to services. An evening viewing will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Memorial Mortuary; 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah.
