Ruth L. Williams, 91, passed away September 13, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ruth was born November 17, 1922 to Glen A. and Edna Sealey in Pocatello, Idaho. She married Delbert J. Williams on March 9, 1943 in Pocatello, Idaho. She brought joy and a smile to everyone who had the pleasure to meet her. She loved sports but was an avid ice hockey fan.
She is survived by her sister, Jerry Warriner (in Oregon), children, Sue Onwuegbu (Obed), Kay Williams and Rick Williams (Annette); grandchildren Melody Onwuegbu-Guy (Curtis), Chinedum Onwuegbu (Shanna), Chimso Onwuegbu (Tiffany), Uchechi Onwuegbu (Mindi), Brandon Allen (Deanna) and Tiffany Williams; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Melvin Sealey.
The family thanks Dr. Todd Bigatel and all the 3W staff who cared for her at St Mark’s Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S Highland Drive, Holladay, where friends and family may visit Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at Holladay Memorial Park. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.holladaycottonwood mortuary.com
