Ruth Nadine Ingleby Kendall, 83, passed away December 13, 2022, in Duluth, Georgia.
Born March 15, 1939, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Richard Thomas (Tom) Ingleby Sr. and Gwendolyn Williams Ingleby. Married Garth Albert Kendall on January 17, 1962, in Logan Temple. Faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ruth served with her husband in both the Bishop’s Storehouse Mission and the Orange Branch Women’s Correctional Facility. Over the years Ruth also served in many capacities within the church, including Relief Society President several times.
Ruth enjoyed hiking, the outdoors and spending time in Timber Lakes with her husband. She loved playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ruth was an avid historian and writer, she had over eight hundred memories uploaded into Family Search and hundreds of pages in her journal. She loved to create stories, poems, and sayings for her friends and family. Her creativity knew no bounds.
Survivors: One daughter, two sons, Michelle Kendall McGuire (Richard) – Duluth, GA, David Alan Kendall (Mi Young) – Salt Lake City, UT, Steven Craig Kendall (Tina) – Centralia, WA; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her mother and father, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23, 2022, 12:30 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Mortuary and one hour, thirty minutes prior to services.Service Information
