Ruth Katherine Beglarian (Hamby)

Ruth passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the age of 90 at home while being cared for by her son and niece. She was surrounded by family. She was born September 15, 1927 in Crossville, Tennessee to William Andrew and Edna Ella Hamby (Myatt). She moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1947 and married Nicola Beglarian in October of 1952.
Ruth was dedicated to her church service and loved teaching Primary and Sunday School. She had a strong testimony and shared it every chance she got. She served as a tour guide for many years at the Salt Lake City LDS temple grounds and visitor center.
Ruth was the last of 11 siblings here on earth and is now enjoying a wonderful reunion with her parents and family who preceded her in death. She is survived by her 5 beautiful children, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held, Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Memorial Holladay~Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah 84117 at 11:00 am. A viewing will begin one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet, 1342 East 500 South, SLC, Utah 84102.
