Ruth Davis Dinse

Ruth was the loving and talented mother to Susan L. Jarvis, Mary L. (Bob) Hansen, Cristine L. (Kirk) Judd. She was the daughter of Nathan William Davis and Alta Leone Wilcox.
Ruth’s favorite saying “I can remember when this was all farmland”. Ruth has seen many advances and growth in the Salt Lake Valley. She served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Southern States and is a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Ruth made a lot of wonderful friends in her lifetime, and holds each friendship dear.
Ruth is preceded in death by her mom and dad, her sister Blanch, brothers Bill and Frank, her sweetheart Harmut B. Dinse, her infant son David Hart, and son-in-law Robert (Bob) Hansen.
Ruth is survived by her 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, sister-in-laws Phyllis Bates Davis Brown, Layola Davis Dinse, Glenna H. Davis Butler. We would like to thank the awesome people from Valeo Hospice for the care of our mom.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Lighthouse Ward, 4000 W 3900 S, West Valley City, UT. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Internment will be at Memorial Redwood Cemetery at 6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT.
