Ruth C. Cunningham

Ruth C. Cunningham Age 77,  Passed away on June 5th,2022 ,in Salt Lake City. She was born
on December 9th 1944 in Salt Lake City to Maren (Mary) Alvey and Val S. Carlson
She was married twice in her life and had two sons.
She loved to bake pies, mostly her famous sweet potato pie. She enjoyed watching Star Trek The
Next Generation late night while putting her hair up in curls with bobby pins. Her most  favorite thing was
going out to lunch with her family on the weekends and having everyone over for the holidays.
Ruth worked at the U of U for many years in their Accounts Payable Department and received several
awards for her outstanding performance there. She was loved by her friends and family for her fun loving
personality and contagious laugh.
She is survived by 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her parents Val S. Carlson and Maren (Mary) Alvey Calson. Her two sons Terry and
Garman Shaun Cunningham. And her two beloved dogs Tiki and Toto.
There will be no funeral service but her granddaughter Shaunee Cunningham will be doing a celebration of life
