Salt Lake City, Utah—Russell Dallas Gore, 93, passed away April 8, 2015, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born April 21, 1921, in Salt Lake City, to Harold and Ivon Gore. Russell married Mary
Helen Shaw November 28, 1945 in Valpariso, Indiana. Retired executive, American Oil Company. He was the Real Estate and Investment Development Representative for the company. He attended the University of Utah, served in the Army during World War II as a radio operator in the Aleutian Islands, and was an avid golfer. He was dedicated to his family and very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Survived by his son, Robert, three grandchildren, Michael (Ashleigh), Elizabeth (Jonathan) Van Wagoner, and Amy, and five great grandchildren, Connor, Anna, Addison, Avery and Audrey. Preceded in death by his wife Mary.
A private service will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East. Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Salt Lake City.
