Rudy Martinez

Rudy passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 21, 2015. Our beloved “Uncle Buck” grew up in Lark, Utah. He married Genie Page on April 14, 1973. He and Genie later moved to Magna, Utah in 1976. He worked at Kennocott on the track gang for 28 years.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, and taking trips to Wendover. He also enjoyed being a part of the Lowrider Community. He also loved spending time with his family.
Rudy is survived by his wife, Genie P. Martinez, daughter Kellee (Salvador) Diaz, Son Rudy J. Martinez (Diana), his two sisters Leoneriz Lopez and Lillian Trujillo, daughter in-law Camron Martinez, five granddaughters, three grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
Rudy is preceded in death by his son Carlos L. Martinez, His parents Lauriano and Clarita Martinez, brothers Elmer, Joe, and Michael.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11 AM at St. Theresa, 7828 South Allen Street, Midvale, Utah 84047. A Rosary will be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
