Ruby Woolsey

Ruby Woolsey, 85, passed away on May 12, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born in SLC May 3, 1931 to Melvin and Olive Jones. Married in the Salt Lake Temple to Robert Woolsey on April 16, 1953. Ruby loved pink roses and yellow tulips. One of her favorite places was Hawaii. She played the piano and violin. She enjoyed serving as a matron at the Jordan River Temple. Her weekly Friday visit to the hair dresser was her escape; she rarely missed an appointment.
Ruby is survived by her sons: Mark (Shari); Blake (Deaun), and Boyd (Robbin); siblings: Ken (Monica), Richard (Roberta), Beverly, and Bruce (Jennifer). She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 19 great-children. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents, and grandson Niles.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday. May 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Oquirrh 3rd Ward, 6673 South Clernates Drive, West Jordan, Utah. A Viewing will be held from 6-8 Tuesday at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 S 900 E. and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
