Ruby Richardson Kershaw, 79, of SLC UT, passed away in her home on Monday, May 19, 2014.
Ruby was a loving mother and grandmother. Her sassy, strong-willed and loving personality will be missed by many. She enjoyed spending her time playing with her grandchildren, going to coffee, having dinner with “The Red Hatters”, and going to the movies with friends. She spent most of her life as a homemaker raising her children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William “Bill” Richardson and Beatrice Prescott, her husband Wilford “Bill” Kershaw, her siblings Mona Cowley and Sandra Skabeland, daughter-in-law Diane Markham, and her great grandson Blayd Templin.
She is survived by her four children: Jim (Pam) Templin, Dee Markham, Dawn Reutlinger, and Mindy (Steve) Schaus – her granddaughter whom she raised as a daughter. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Jim (Aimie), Justin, Jeff Templin, and Rodell Markham; eight grandchildren: Alex, Ryley, Braxton, Destiny, Geenah, Rebekah, Savannah, and her pride and joy Zander.
For her funeral service, please wear her favorite colors – red, pink, or purple, and if you would like to share a story about her you are welcome to.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday, May 28th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan.
