Ruby Griego

Our beautiful mom, Ruby Griego, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2018. She leaves behind family, friends and many caretakers who will miss her spunky spirit and generous heart. She was born in 1943 in Embudo, New Mexico to Jose and Emma Martinez. Later they moved to Utah where she graduated from Bingham High school and then later from Salt Lake Community College when she then worked for the phone company until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her daughter Marissa; and her parents Jose and Emma Martinez. She is survived by her daughters Melissa and Noel; her grandchildren Josh, Tyler, Emma and Theo; two great-grandchildren Randy and Lacey; and siblings Max, Stella and Manuel. Please join us in celebrating her life. A Viewing will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 6 PM followed by a Rosary at 7, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018, 11 AM at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7405 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
