Ruby Graham

May 2, 1926 — July 10, 2015

A wonderful wife, sister, daughter, great aunt, and friend passed away July 10, 2015. Ruby was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 2, 1926 to John and Alta McCurdy. She was the baby of the family. She loved to golf and she would watch every tournament that was on TV. She was the last of her generation.
She was the most loyal friend and made sure that her friends and family were always taken care of. She loved receiving cards and trinkets and kept everyone she was given.
She left this poem for the people that loved her:
To Those I Love
When I am gone, just release me, let me go
so I can move into my afterglow
You mustn’t tie me down with your tears;
Let’s be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love, you can only guess how much you
gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown,
But now it’s time I traveled all alone.
So grieve for me awhile, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted with trust,
It’s only for awhile that we must part,
So bless the memories within your heart,
And then, when you must come this way alone;
“I’ll greet you with a smile and a “Welcome Home”
Ruby left behind so many family and friends that will miss and always love her. A special thank you to Travis, Amy, Baldridge and Tyler Cabrera for taking care of her, while the rest of us were not able. You three were her Angels.
There are no services, as she didn’t want any. In lieu of flowers if you would like to make a donation to Primary Children’s Hospital in her name.
